Several Exciting Things

Well, lets see.... seminary ended last week and for that I am thankful. It has been a busy and a hard semester, but I am confident that I did well in my classes. This semester, I had set a goal not to procrastinate and attempt to get things done ahead of time, and it was successful. I get a break from seminary until the end of January. Also, I am involved in a pastoral internship program for this coming calendar year.

My wife and I are expecting our first child in May. We have waited to make that public because we wanted to be out of the first trimester. We went to the Dr on Thursday for an ultrasound and we got a nice Christmas present, we found out that we are expecting TWINS - one boy and one girl. We are both excited and scared at the same time! Now this changes a lot of things in our lives, but we are both very excited at the prospect of having two children. We were talking yesterday and we were both humbled at the fact that God was trusting us with just one child, now that we know that we are having two, it is equally as humbling.

I would like to also take this time to wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please take time with your family and friends over these next couple of days and spend time also in worshipping God. Do not get consumed with the commercialism and greed that is prevalent during these days.
